The insanely talented fashion illustrator Jamie Lee Reardin tweeted this to me earlier…obsessed!
Both RZLA & RZNY teaming their Rachel Zoe Finn leather blazer with dresses & tights!
Love Eva Longoria in my Nathalie top…she’s glowing!
How would you wear Rachel Zoe’s Hanne jacket - casual-cool like RZLA or jumpsuit-chic like RZNY?
All this week on Facebook I answered your questions on holiday dressing—see the questions (and my answers!) below :)
DAY 1
Christine Ross asked: How do I bundle up for the cold without looking like a marshmallow ?
A: It’s all about strategic layering! Try a fitted tee, long cashmere knit & a belted jacket or trench—something to give you a little shape! Add a chunky scarf for extra warmth.
DAY 2
Brandee Taylor Medley asked: What is the best way to dress up denim for the holidays?
A: Definitely opt for a darker wash, or even go with black! Pair your denim of choice back to something rich or textured—I’m loving velvet at the moment (like the Hutton Tuxedo Jacket from my fall collection) but also recommend brocade or sequins. To finish the look, throw on a patent pump or snakeskin bootie, a statement necklace and a red lip for an added dose of glam!
DAY 3
Miriam Licona asked: What are the must haves for fall? And I love you!!! You’re fabulous!♥
A: First of all, thank you gorj :) And my staples for this season first and foremost include a chunky knit—something you can just throw on and go and know you’re going to be cozy in! My Nikki sweater gets a lot of wear at RZ HQ. Also a wool cape, over the knee boots and a great jumpsuit are wardrobe essentials—pretty much living in all of those things at the moment!
DAY 4
Crystal Corona asked: What to wear for a company Christmas party? I don’t want to look too dressy but I also want to look fabulous ;)
A: I always say it’s better to be overdressed than under! Opt for a dress—something with a bit of interest, whether that be a ruffle detail or sequin trim. Pair it with some opaque black tights, black patent pumps, sparkly jewels and a clutch and you’re all set!
DAY 5
Jessica Cramer Miller asked: Sequins - in or out for this season. Also how to style for a casual/glam look?
A: In—always! For a casual yet glam approach to sequins, try a sequin top with a pair of dark wide leg jeans or leather trousers or shorts—such a great play on texture! For evening, opt for a sequin vest with a silk button up and tuxedo pants, or update your favorite cotton maxi skirt with a long sleeve sequin tee. Either way, you can do no wrong!

A look I love for the colder months is a great sweater dress layered with other fall staples. To amp up the Kasia dress, layer a basic white button-up underneath (the perfect way to resurrect a forgotten collared blouse from the depths of your closet!) and throw on a cargo-inspired jacket over the top to keep it from being overtly prep school. Weather depending, rock bare legs or your fave pair of tights and finish off the look with platform ankle booties. Super chic! xoRZ
Anna Kendrick was perfection wearing my Dalia pumps at the launch of my Jockey Major Must Haves!
Another way to wear my favorite Long Tassel-End necklace—backwards! Makes such a dramatic (and glamorous!) statement.
